_Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?” (Romans 6:16)_

Our text above summarizes the two kinds of believers in the world,as well as, in the Christendom, one, those who are servants of sin, and those who are servants of righteousness.

Paul the apostle by the inspiration of God brought to light the secret of believers’ enslavement either to sin or to righteousness as a choice that comes from the believer himself. That is, those who are slaves to sin are slaves by their choice, as well as, those who are slaves to righteousness are also slaves by choice. _”Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.” (John 8:34)

_The sinners are sinning by choice, this choice make them yielding to sin. Doing and living righteously is also by choice, for life is achieved by choice either negatively or positively. To yield to either sin or righteousness is connected to the word “OBEDIENCE”.

To yield to sin is to obey temptations of the flesh and the Devil that come to the mind. The believer who yield to sin is a servant to sin and as well a slave to Satan. Yielding to sin is accepting the suggestions of the flesh to sin against God.

The man, believer or minister who obeys the suggestion to sin cannot be refer as the servant of Christ. It is blasphemy to call a sinner man or woman to be christian or a minister of God. Yielding to sin is by choice, therefore there is no room for excuse when a believer sin against God. He that sinned sin by choice and not by mistake. _But every man is tempted, when he is *drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.* Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” (James 1:14-15)

Yielding to sin is obeying the sinful desire of the flesh. The chorister, preacher, prophet, worker, or member who live in sin cannot be servants of God, but are servants of sin.

The soul that sinned shall die. Yielding to righteousness is obeying the leading of the spirit of God, even when facing temptations to sin. To yield to righteousness is to obey the Word of God by fleeing from every appearance of evil. To yield to righteousness is to strive against sin and even unto blood. To yield to righteousness is cut off evil communication and communicators. To yield to righteousness is cut of human tempters or sinful instruments suggesting sin to you.

To yield to righteousness is never to smile before sinful seducers or enticers, but rather to rebuke them. To yield to righteousness is come out among sinful fellowships and partnerships.

To yield to righteousness is to shun up immoral conduct and conversations capable of producing sin. To yield to righteousness is to expose sin and sinners before God and men. When a believer start yielding to righteousness then such can be refer to as servant of God, and not servant of sin. Though will be hated by the world, but will so much love by God. Beloved, who are you servant of?

*Memory verse: Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.” (1 Corinthians 6:9-10)
