Friends, there are two main junctions we must necessarily pass through in this great race to glory land.
1. Junction of pain
2. Junction of pleasure
Some of the fathers of old passed through these junctions successfully, while some wobbled through.
Joseph faired well through the pain junction in the pit and in the prison; he also navigated through the pleasure junction successfully in his encounter with Potiphar’s wife.
David had an excellent run through the pain junction as he moved from cave to cave; but he wobbled through the pleasure junction with Uriah’s wife among others.
“And David perceived that the LORD had established him king over Israel, and that he had exalted his kingdom for his people Israel’s sake. And David took him more concubines and wives out of Jerusalem..” 2 Sam. 5:12-13.
Your personal settlement in life should not be allowed to unsettle your walk with Jesus.
Samson broke chains and tore lions to pieces with ease; but he had no answer at the pleasure junction.
The most challenging junction in our fast-paced generation is the pleasure junction.
To go through successfully by His grace; watch these:
Pay close close attention to your daily personal moment with Jesus.
Keep the right company – it’s difficult to fly higher than the company you keep.
Be in the King’s rescue business for our generation – when you stop going for the deliverance of others, you may need deliverance soon.
His grace can’t fail you in Jesus name.
Have a great week ahead 👍👍👍
