…Spiritual enrichment; edification of soul!

General Sermon

Don’t Follow Your Pastor Blindly.

We live in days of great deception among the people of God.

Please do not follow ANY pastor or general overseer blindly.

Follow the word of God ONLY.

When your pastor deviates from the word of God (and does not repent quickly) please ‘deviate’ from that pastor for the sake of your soul!

In today’s Christianity, ONLY GOD KNOWS THE PASTORS THAT GENUINELY BELONG TO HIM. Many are from the devil. Many have compromised their calling for money and fame. Many are under God’s curse for preaching a false gospel (Galatians 1:9).

To follow them is to fall with them!

Jesus did not promise deliverance for any blind that chooses to follow the blind. BOTH will fall in a ditch, warned Christ, in Matthew 15:14 and Luke 6:39.

From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible did not tell us to TRUST any man. This is because EVERY man is FALLIBLE.

Even the great Apostle Paul did not tell us to trust him blindly! Hear him: “…follow me AS I follow Christ…” (1 Corinthians 11:1)

In other words, he was saying, “I follow Jesus Christ. As you follow me, look over my shoulder, and be sure I am following Christ. Then follow me. Don’t follow me BLINDLY. Follow me, AS I follow Christ…”

Please don’t offend God by trying to please a pastor! This is IDOLATRY. And ALL idolaters shall end up in hell. Many believers are in rebellion against God today simply because they are following what the pastor or general overseer said. This is IDOLATRY.

Please be wise as a serpent, and gentle as a dove (Matthew 10:16).

May the Lord preserve us in love as we eagerly await His imminent arrival. Amen.

Thanks for reading, God bless you.
