Before Breakfast: Numbers 13:30 October 7, 2018

“And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.”
God led the Israelites out of Egypt by a divine power and made a promise to lead them to a land flowing with milk and honey.
Joshua and Caleb were among the Israelites who were led out of Egypt under the leadership of Moses.
They witnessed how God delivered them from the Egyptians by divine power.
Both of them were among the twelve spies sent by Moses to explore the promised land and to give back their reports to the people.
At the end of their exploration of the land, the spies were divided into two groups with different reports!
One group of ten people saw the impossibility of possessing the land based on what they SAW.
The other group of two (Joshua and Caleb) saw the possibility of overcoming and possessing the land based on their beliefs (FAITH).
No wonder it was only Joshua and Caleb who were able to enter into the promised land among those that left Egypt.
(See Numbers 14:21-24)
Similarly, we ought to know that no matter how terrible our problems may seem to be, our faith in God should be greater because we have a GREATER GOD.
Until you get to a level where you can walk with God by completely trusting Him and believing His report, rather than using human knowledge and philosophy, you may forfeit some of the blessings and good promises you are destined for.
