EXPERIENCING THE MUCH MORE GOD (2) – EPHESIANS 3:20-21-April 24, 2017- Rev&Rev(Mrs) Olusola Areogun

Today, we will continue on our topic, experiencing the much more God.

GOD WILL DO MUCH MORE THAN AN EARTHLY FATHER CAN DO FOR HIS CHILDREN: If the devil can make you lose focus of God as your heavenly Father, then he has also robbed you of the much-more dimension of your faith and belief in God. Regardless of your background or the details of your growing up, God has so much more available for you, and for all His children, to the end that even if your natural father cannot, your heavenly Father will do so much more, more than any biological father can do for his children.

Whenever God gives something, He gives it to His people in rainfalls. There is no picture of the Almighty God that portrays inadequacy or paucity. God is in the habit of exceeding all our expectations and demands.

God wants to bless you more than you desire to be blessed. His blessings and involvement in your life is in the realm of exceeding, abundantly, above all we ask or think according to the power that works within us. HOW MUCH MORE IS THE LORD READY TO DO FOR YOU?

How Archbishop Benson Idahosa make a mess of Witchcraft and ocultic Powers in Benin City

The truth is, we dwell in realms of two highly contradicting kingdom, the kingdom of Darkness and the Kingdom of Light, and when you are born again, you are welcomed into the kingdom of LIGHT where no darkness prevails, you are considered to have been saved by the Blood of Jesus and therefore you are in charge, you are exempted from the ones the devil torment and oppress on the earth.

But to be sincere, some level of Power exists in this two kingdoms, we can not say the devil is powerless, that is not true, the devil has power with which, he uses to torment and afflict people all around the world.

11 Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:

12 Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein;

13 And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied;

14 Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage;

15 Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint;

16 Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;
17 And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.

18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

A popular children story named “The giving tree” speaks of the life of an apple tree and a boy. UNDERSTANDING YOUR PLACE – GENESIS 37:5-11, PROVERBS 27:8-April 22, 2017- Rev&Rev(Mrs) Olusola Areogun

Demo Image

If you will walk in the power of divine purpose, you must understand your place. The programme of God for your life is connected to places. There’s a place for everybody. There’s a place called “THERE” that you’re headed for, and you must know it and not try to fulfil your purpose in the wrong place.

The life of Joseph portrays this clearly to us that there is a place God planned for the fulfilment of your purpose. Joseph saw a vision of himself as a leader at the age of seventeen. He saw the sheaves of his brothers bowing down to his, but he had to discover where. Although Joseph was promoted to serve in the house of Potiphar, he recognized that that was not “the place”; he was still a houseboy in the house of Potiphar, if he tried to bring that vision to pass in Potiphar’s house he would have lost his headship.

DCLM Daily Manna April 21, 2017 by Pastor Kumuyi – Reduce To Writing

Topic: Reduce To Writing [Friday April 21, 2017]

Text: Proverbs 25:1-15

Key Verse: “These are also proverbs of Solomon, which the men of Hezekiah king of Judah copied out” (Proverb 25:1).

Can you imagine a world without history, without writing and without documentation? Most important events and persons would have been lost forever! Today’s text starts with the introduction of how the entire chapter 25 of Proverbs came to be. It was copied out by the men of Hezekiah, king of Judah. The basic difference between divinely inspired truth and mere history is that all divine truths started out with the glory of God in mind and God was involved in moving men to write.

The Story behind the hymn: I’m pressing on…

Johnson Oatman Jr (1856-1922) is the author of this prayer gospel song.The music to the words of the song was added by Charles Hutchinson Gabriel. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church.

The author is reported to have written about 3,000 songs from 1892 to 1922 when he died.His songs were in demand by gospel musicians of his day including Charles Gabriel, William James Kirkpatrick and Edwin Excell.
